Verb T – Medicated Dreams EP

Verb T _ Medicated Dreams coverVerb T shared the above “hospital bars” video last night, filmed on December 2011 in St. Thomas’s Hospital, London. This is kind of a pre-text to the Medicated Dreams EP. For years Verb T has struggled with Crohn’s disease, a long-term condition involving inflammation of the lining of the digestive system. In essence the Medicated Dreams EP gives his personal account of the illness, but in particular the effects experienced under the influence of various medications whilst also depicting his defected dreams, inescapable depression and the optimisms gained from experiencing these different aspects of his illness. Having released his seventh full-length studio album I Remain last October, on the back of an incomparable career which has seen his infamous legacy survive through the Lowlife, YNR and High Focus era’s and still continue to thrive, we’re thrilled to hear Verb T back on his feet to gift us with more musical material.
